St. Patrick School of Bay Ridge will be on the big screen, welcoming household names such as Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy.

Filming for the new movie, “St. Vincent De Van Nuys’” directed by Theodore Melfi, was wrapped up at the school, at Fourth Avenue and 97th Street, on Wednesday July 31. A scene included children pouring of the school; another part of the movie included driving scenes in the area.

The movie tells the story of an unlikely friendship between a boy, whose parents have just divorced, and a self-indulgent war veteran. The young boy is played by Jaeden Lieberher who showed the country his talent in a Hyundai commercial that aired during the Superbowl.

Lieberher stars alongside Murray of “Saturday Night Live” and McCarthy of “Identity Thief.” Other actors include Chris O’Dowd and Naomi Watts.

“St. Vincent De Van Nuys” will be released by the Weinstein Company in 2014.
