Start your Wednesday morning right with Radio Jarocho, sponsored by the Friends of Sunset Park. The “Wednesday Mornings on the Hill” series kicks off today at 10 a.m. and will conclude at 11:30 a.m. It will be held at Sunset Park at the 44th Street and 6th Avenue entrance.

The JEI Learning Center in Bensonhurst is offering a summer camp that focuses on academic enrichment for children looking to advance in Math, English, Reading and Writing, while also having fun. Open to children ages 4-12, the camp runs until August 23, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Extended care from 3p.m. until6 p.m. is also available. The weekly rate for the camp is $250, and it is held at the JEI Learning Center, located at 7721 18th Avenue.

Calling all of those who are 21 years of age and older! A “Good Beer” event is being held to pair up and showcase food and drinks from the city’s finest food and brew purveyors. Being held at 82Mercer, located at 82 Mercer Street, Manhattan, the event takes place from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. There will be selections from Brooklyn Brewery, Kelso, Sierra Nevada, Jack the Horse Tavern, Fort Defiance, and many more. Have a knack for arranging flowers in unique, beautiful designs? Attend the English Garden Baskets class tonight at 6:30 p.m. In this project-based class, participants will use floral design techniques to create a lovely summertime basket. The class will take place at Brooklyn Brainery Prospect Heights, located at 190 Underhill Avenue. The cost for the class is $77 and it will approximately end at 8 p.m.

Bring a chair or blanket to watch New York Exceptions perform oldies classics from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Part of the Concerts In The Park series, sponsored by State Senator Marty Golden, it is free and open to the public at Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue. The concert begins at 7 p.m. and will conclude approximately at 9:30 p.m.

Need a new book to read before the summer comes to an end? Come enjoy Michael Paterniti’s journey through the Spanish countryside to see if a magical piece of cheese does exist at his book launch. The book launch will take place tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pier 1 Brooklyn Bridge Park, located at 334 Furman Street.

One of the most classic romantic tales of all times meets hip-hop in this new interpretation of “King Kong.” Written and directed by Alfred Preisser and Randy Weiner, the play production will be performed at Herbert Von King Park tonight at 8 p.m. Performed on SummerStage and being part of the “This Is Hip Hop” series,” it is free and open to the public.

Brooklynites are in for a treat when a Comedy Night takes place tonight. Comedian and juggler Marcus Monroe will provide the night of laughter to attendees from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 1208 Surf Avenue in Coney Island.
