Greenfield presents ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ screening in Seth Low Park

Councilman David Greenfield isn’t Harvey Weinstein, but like the famous movie producer, he is presenting a film to audiences.

Greenfield (D-Borough Park-Midwood-Bensonhurst) is presenting a free screening of the movie “Wreck-It Ralph” in Seth Low Park in Bensonhurst on Sunday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m.

Residents are advised to bring a chair or blanket to the park, located at the intersection of Bay Parkway and Stillwell Avenue. The movie screening is sponsored by Greenfield, Assemblyman Bill Colton (D-Gravesend-Bensonhurst) and the New York City Parks Department.

“Wreck-It Ralph,” a critically acclaimed animated film, tells the story of a video game villain who dreams of being a hero and sets out to fulfill his dream, only to find that his quest brings havoc to the entire arcade where he lives.

The film as nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and for a Golden Globe Award. The movie features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch.

“I am thrilled to invite the entire community to stop by Seth Low Park for this great movie,” Greenfield said. “It is a pleasure to once again partner with the Parks Department to provide residents with a free movie screening that the whole family can enjoy right here in the neighborhood. I look forward to seeing many families and children at this event, so grab a blanket or chair and join me and your neighbors on Sunday, July 28,” he said.
