Silver Alert issued for two women with Alzheimer’s and dementia

Two women suffering from different degrees of dementia went missing yesterday, Monday, July 1, and the NYPD has issued a Silver Alert for them.

Moulta Salima, 56, from Boerum Street and Broadway in South Williamsburg, was last seen in the vicinity of Albemarle Road and Ocean Avenue some time between 5 a.m. and Noon. She was wearing a purple dress, black overcoat and black shoes, and is described as being 5’5″ tall, 180 pounds, with black hair in a ponytail. Salima suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. Salimah Moulta Ali, 56, has been missing since Monday, July 1. She suffers from Alzheimer's Disease.

Sylvia Gonzalez, 82, disappeared a few hours later, between 5 and 6:30 p.m. from near Morgan Avenue and Rock Street in Bushwick. Gonzalez has black hair and brown eyes, is 5’1″ tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing plaid pajama pants and a black shirt. She suffers from dementia.
