Brooklyn Hospitality HS feted at Cipriani’s
The Brooklyn Academy of Hospitality and Tourism was honored at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on May 6 at the National Academy Foundation’s (NAF) annual Benefit. NAF designated the school as a “Distinguished Academy” preparing students for success in college and careers.
The Flatbush school, one of five on the Erasmus campus, is designed for students interested in careers in hotels and restaurants and is equipped with its own professional kitchen.
“The academy gives us the opportunity to go outside of the school,” said Zenobia St. Clair, a junior in the program. “We get the opportunity to observe the real business world and we learn how to act on job interviews and for when we interview for internships.”
