Fairway Patio Grill open weekends through September

Memorial Day Weekend is going to be big at Red Hook’s Fairway Market, at 480-500 Van Brunt Street. In addition to throwing a two-afternoon mini-festival celebrating the launch of the Red Hook Summer Ferry, the grocery hub will mark the reopening of the Fairway Patio Grill for the summer season.

The Fairway Patio Grill features a set menu from Chef Mitchel London of barbecue chicken, burgers, baby back ribs, fried shrimp, lobster, lamb sausage, strawberry shortcake, watermelon, cupcakes, fresh squeezed lemonade and iced tea, and more.

Even more fun than ordering off the menu, however, is purchasing a cut of any type of meat from inside the store and then having it grilled outside just for you — for free — for lunch, dinner, or any time in between.

The Patio Grill is open from Noon to 8 p.m. on weekends.
