Schools chancellor coming to Bensonhurst for town hall

City Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott will speak at a Bensonhurst town hall hosted by the Community Education Council of District 20 on May 2, Council President Laurie Windsor announced.
The town hall will take place Thursday at PS 204, 8101 15th Ave., starting at 6 p.m.
Walcott is expected to discuss student achievement, school finances, and the city’s educational goals and priorities. There will be a question and answer period following his remarks. For more information, call the Community Education Council at 718-759-3944.
