It’s all sunshine and sandals today, with yesterday’s chill gone, replaced with temperatures in the low to mid-60s and a high near 65 degrees. There is also a breeze heading southward at 5 to 10 mph throughout the day, gradually increasing to 10 to 20 mph while heading SSW.

Tonight has a 30 percent chance of rain and temperatures cooling to around 46 degrees.

The sun will set at 7:45 p.m. and the moon is still in its waxing gibbous phase.

Cooper Union will end its free tuition policy, replacing it with an offer of a need-based sliding scale. Students will continue to be accepted without regard to need. [WSJ]
