Baseball season is upon us

The Dyker Heights Athletic Association kicked off its 2013 baseball season at its much improved home field ,The Nick Maglio Field, at an early Saturday ceremony that took place on the morning of April 13 in Dyker Beach Park.
The field is open to the entire community, announced DHAA President Peter McCarthy, about the recently renovated area, which now has lights so games can be played after dark..
Thank you to all those that made the field renovation possible, McCarthy added.
