Mayoral candidates to duke it out in Brooklyn on April 3

The five top Democratic contenders for the position of New York City’s next Mayor will be presenting their positions and answering questions at a forum at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3 at St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street, in Brooklyn Heights. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Democratic candidates participating in the forum include Bill de Blasio, Bill Thompson, Christine Quinn, John Liu and Sal Albanese.

Not included in Wednesday’s face-off include the Republican front-runners: Joe Lhota, George McDonald and John Catsimatidis.

The forum is sponsored by the Brooklyn Reform Coalition, which includes Bay Ridge Democrats, Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats (CBID), Independent Neighborhood Democrats (IND), Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn (LID), New Kings Democrats, Prospect Heights Democrats for Reform and Southern Brooklyn Democrats.
