The borough’s newest political club, the Brooklyn South Conservative Club, is holding its first major event, a President’s Day dinner-dance, on Feb. 21.

The club, formed by Liam McCabe, has invited a whole host of elected officials and political types to their dinner-dance, which will take at the Dyker Beach Golf Course Catering Hall, 1020 86th St., starting at 6:30 p.m.

The dinner will serve as a coming out party for the new club to introduce themselves to the Brooklyn conservative community, McCabe, the club’s president, said. “We want to show people that conservatives are young and fresh and modern. The Conservative Party is not the party of old white guys, as the media would have you believe,” he said.
