BLS Panel explores immigration and its effects on entrepreneurship

Brooklyn Law School’s BLIP (Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy) Clinic teamed up with the New York Legal Hackers to bring a panel discussion at the intersection of law, technology and business. The panelists and audience engaged in robust dialogue on how immigration can promote entrepreneurship and economic growth, and also enjoyed beverages from the Brooklyn Brewery.

Yesterday’s panelists included: Jeremy Robbins, Partnership for a New American Economy; Owen Davis, NYC Seed; Michael Wildes, Wildes and Weinberg PC; and Cyrus Mehta, Cyrus D. Mehta & Associates, PLLC.

The panelists also discussed how federal immigration policy affects New York’s thriving startup scene.
