It’s a slam dunk.

Knicks, greats, Larry Johnson and John Starks on Tuesday, February 12 from 12 to 2 p.m. will make appearances and sign autographs at the Chase Bank at 86th Street and 19th Avenue. Current Knicks Iman Shumpert and Marcus Camby will be at the Chase at 1380 Fulton Street, where they will meet the public from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event is part of a new community initiative involving the Knicks, Chase, and the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation, entitled “Basketball in the Boroughs.”

The program will serve thousands of youth in the five Boroughs through free basketball clinics, basketball court refurbishments, and Knicks player/alumni appearances.

On February 6, Former Knicks players Starks and John Wallace helped host a free basketball clinic for local youth at the Brownsville Recreation Center, whose basketball court is being refurbished thanks to the Knicks and Chase.

The following week, the Knicks game against the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden on February 13, will feature a “Brooklyn theme.” The memory of former coach and youth mentor, Greg Jackson, will be honored, and Brooklyn native Melissa Fiore, will perform The National Anthem.
