The PYO Browns were on top of their game defeating a strong PYO Cardinal team that fought them tooth and nail every step of the way by a score of 19-0.

Shawn The Natural Cush took the opening kick off and muscled his way down field breaking several tackles. Salvatore Dalao recovered a Cardinal fumble on the six-yard line to set up a Cush TD pass to Nick Trani. The Natural took the snap, dropped into the pocket and fired a bullet to Trani making it 12-0 at the half.

The second half became a defensive battle with only the Browns reaching pay dirt. Jack The Sizzler Ryan, who always makes things happen, took the hand-off, broke through two tackles and charged 33 yards to golden soil.

The rough and ready Christopher Daylight Natelli went over for the extra point, giving the Browns the major victory.

Forgetting the final score for a moment, both defensive teams need mentioning. Hassan Raja, Dallas Rivera, Carmine Spata, Christopher Shot Gun Campbell, Nate Kruger, Louis Lombardo, Joseph Bone crusher Trani, and Colin Trainor did an outstanding job to make this contest exciting to watch. Dalao of the Browns and Xavier Caballero are cited as top players of the game.

One of the toughest and closest games played this season occurred in the Peewee division. Both the Saints and the Steelers fought an awesome game that ended in a 19-18 victory for the Steelers.

First blood was drawn by Aiden Farley of the Saints but was quickly answered with a seven-yard TD by Frank Scarpaci of the Steelers who also scored the extra point.

Sal Miciotta of the Saints ran 25 yards, bouncing off four Steelers to the 10 to set himself for a TD on the next play. The final score of the half came from Scarpacis eight-yard dash to glory. This closed the half, 13 -12, Steelers.

Miciotta scored the last TD for the Saints and Scarpaci added the last point to the Steelers tally, giving them the win. Luciano DiPreta, Dante DiPietro, Christopher Morban and Marcus Vargas were on top of their game. Juan Vasquez and Savastian Ortiz were exceptional in this game.
