We hear that His Airness, Brooklyn born Michael Jordan, will soon move into a multi-million dollar home in Jupiter, Florida. The Brooklynites In Florida blog welcomes the Brooklyn native and the greatest basketball player to ever play the game to the Sunshine State.

His three-acre home has been under construction since 2010 and is located in an exclusive community owned by Jack Nicklaus, who is considered the greatest golfer to ever play the game. The Nicklaus community is called Bear’s Trap.

As Yahoo Sports originally reported a few days ago: “According to local realtor Jeff Lichtenstein, Jordan’s home has 11 bedrooms, a pool house, a two-story guard house and an athletic section with a basketball court (of course). The media room apparently has a heavy-duty ventilation system for removing cigar smoke, appropriate for a guy who love his stogies so much he once had the entire city of San Francisco upset with him over his smoking. Won’t be a problem in his own home, we’re guessing.”

What does it cost to be a member of the Bear’s Club in Jupiter?  Reportedly there is a $350,000 initiation fee with annual dues of $25,000.

A final note: One of Jordan’s neighbors will be Tiger Woods, who, some say, could eventually be the greatest golfer of all time.
