Speaker Quinn against moving Lopez into another district

Council Speaker Christine Quinn wants to change the proposal by the Districting Commission that would move Assemblyman Vito Lopez into Councilwoman Diana Reyna’s district, the New York Post reports. Reyna is backing her chief of staff as successor.

Lopez is being investigated for sexual harassment and has been stripped of his leadership posts.
