The men who robbed a Bay Ridge bank last month tried to hide their identities by wearing Halloween masks during their daring caper, but apparently waited too long before putting on their disguises, according to the gothamist.com.

A surveillance camera in the Capital One bank branch at 7110 Fifth Ave. caught the images of the suspects before they put on their masks, Gothamist reported.

The heist took place on Oct. 27, according to police, who said the two men entered the bank at approximately 2:10 p.m. wearing the masks and latex gloves. The suspects were also carrying handguns, police said.
