Funeral services for Hon. Theodore T. Jones
Friends and family of the late Court of Appeals Judge Theodore T. Jones may attend his wake services today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 212 Tompkins Ave. in Brooklyn. The funeral service will be Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. and will also be held at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
“Judge Jones was a great legal mind, exemplary jurist and attorney, wonderful friend, mentor and supporter to many. He will be truly missed,” said R. Nadine Fontaine, president of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association and Judge Alvin Yearwood in a joint statement.
A memorial fund has been established at St. John’s Law School in honor of Judge Jones. The Jones’ family asks that contributions to the fund be considered in lieu of flowers.
