Brooklyn Spectator Magazine and The Home Reporter will be collecting non-perishable food items and coats for the victims of Hurricane Sandy living in Breezy Point, Belle Harbor and the Rockaways.

Besides storm surges and flooding, over 100 homes burned to the ground.

Items can be dropped off at our offices, 8723 Third Avenue.  For more information, or if you have a business and are interested in hosting a drop-box, call us at 718-238-6600.

For more on how to help and where to volunteer, see our full list of opportunities going on in Brooklyn, updated regularly.
