The Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association held its annual Membership Party on September 27, 2012 at TD Bank in Brooklyn Heights. Anne Swern, first assistant district attorney, was honored for her work with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office as well has her contributions to the Brooklyn community.

Honorable Sylvia Hinds-Radix, current president of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association, and Kings County DA Charles “Joe” Hynes spoke highly of Ms. Swern before presenting her with her award. In addition to receiving an award from the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association, Ms. Swern also received a citation from Brooklyns Borough President Marty Markowitz.
