Hundreds of vendors, a dozen sound stages and over a million people were estimated to have packed 10 blocks of Atlantic Avenue for the 38th annual Atlantic Antic in Downtown Brooklyn this past Sunday.

While exact figures were not yet in, festival producer Karen Auster told the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, “The Antic was definitely bigger than ever this year. The event has grown — there are more stages, more activities, more vendors. The quality of the vendors has increased as well since so many new restaurants have opened up on Atlantic Avenue.

“The diversity of the vendors, merchants and crowd is a beautiful thing,” she added. “If we could live like the Atlantic Antic it would be a perfect world.”
