Musicians from two progressive synagogues will lead and outdoor picnic and Sabbath-ending havdalah service.

Temple Beth Ahavath Sholom of Boro Park and Temple Israel of Staten Island, under the leadership of Cantor Suzannne Bernstein and Rabbi Michael Howald, will join together for an outdoor service, potluck picnic and singing on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m.

All are welcome to join the two congregations at Floyd Bennett Field Community Gardens picnic area for this faith celebration. Participants are advised to bring lawn chairs and a dairy dish to share.
