An Olympic bronze medal is coming to Brooklyn, thanks to teenage swimmer Lia Neal.

The 17-year-old Brooklyn resident was part of the women’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay team that came in third place on Saturday night. This is her first Olympics.

Neal swam in both the morning preliminaries and the evening race.

Neal, who is half African-American and half Chinese, is the second woman of African-American descent to make the U.S. Olympic swim team.

She’ll be starting her senior year in high school in the fall.
