Lawyers, Judges and Even Retirees Gather at Brooklyn Surrogate’s Court for St. Joseph Day Feast

Each year at the Amicus Curiae Columbia Association’s annual St. Joseph Day celebration and Membership Drive at the Surrogate’s Court in Downtown Brooklyn, guests at the courthouse are treated to complimentary Italian food and pastries.

Kings County Supreme Court Criminal Term Deputy Administrative Judge Patricia Di Mango and Kings County Supreme Court Justice Bruce Balter.This year, there were two other St. Joseph Day events. Several days prior to the Amicus Curiae celebration,  the Catholic Lawyers Guild Diocese of Brooklyn’s held its annual St. Patrick/St. Joseph’s Day Dinner celebrating Irish and Italian food and music at Marco Polo restaurant on Court Street in Carroll Gardens. And the following day, former Kings County Surrogate Frank Seddio and attorney Frank Carone hosted members of the Brooklyn legal community at their Law Office of Abrams & Fensterman LLP in Canarsie to celebrate the St. Joseph Feast Day.
