The Brooklyn Heights Library and the Clinton Hill Library are closed until Monday and will reopen with limited hours that have yet to be determined.

The air conditioning units at the library branches are apparently “in dire need of replacement  and sweltering temperatures of late have taxed its capacity,” according to an email sent out by Community Board 2.

The libraries are located at 280 Cadman Plaza West at Tillary Street and 380 Washington Ave. at Lafayette Avenue, respectively.
