Different local businesses got to meet and promote themselves at The Gregory Hotel for “Business Bay Ridge Style,” an After-Hours Networking Event and Trade Show held by The Networking Productions Group on May 17.

The businesses present included the All-Car Rent A Car Rental Company, Malson Jewelers, Keller Williams Realty, TLC Reserve Mortgages, SendOutCards, Flushing Bank, and Paychex.

Ruth Berg, of the Networking Productions Group, who has decades of experience bringing together southwest Brooklyn businesses, commented that the event was “very, very good.”

Berg said that the business representatives actually got to know one another. The participants interacted, she said, and “there were connections being made.”

For example, Berg explained that Maiorano & Associates, financial advisors, hooked up with BNI group, which is the world’s largest business networking organization, at the event.

The After-Hours event also led Maiorano & Associates to being “pumped,” about helping to raise money for the Bay Ridge Senior Center, Berg said.
