Brooklyn’s media, technology, art and business worlds collided during Creative Week New York, which was held at various locations throughout DUMBO – such as Galapagos Art Space, 111 Front Street and 56 Water Street – from May 7 to 11.

The free event was supported by and featured speakers, roundtables and entrepreneurs from local organizations, including the DUMBO Business Improvement District, Digital DUMBO, Big Spaceship, HUGE, Breakfast, Domani Studios, the JAR Group, DDB (Spike), and One Club, which led the unConference – an unscheduled day of seminars led by anyone about anything. The International Center of Photography, BuzzFeed and the New Yorker Cartoon Bank were also on hand, as was GE, which presented “THROTTLE UP,” an interactive live hologram experience.
