A spiritually infused fire on Remsen Street marked the Jewish holiday of Lag BaOmer on Wednesday night. Members of Congregation B’nai Avraham of Brooklyn Heights, an Orthodox synagogue, formed a drum circle and feasted on hot dogs, burgers and s’mores, commemorating the redemption of Jewish sages during the Roman occupation of the land of Israel.
