Barbra Streisand confirmed at Barclays

We reported on Friday that Barbra Streisand would likely play a hometown show or two at Barclays Arena this fall, and now, thanks to the help of the Atlantic Yards Report, we’ve got proof from the Ticketmaster site that the “Funny Girl” from Flatbush is indeed coming to Brooklyn:
No tickets or dates for the show(s) are available yet, but ESPN’s NY Fight Blog columnist Michael Woods thinks the opening night for boxing at Barclays, which he puts at Oct. 20, will be bookended by a couple of Streisand dates.
