Jurors on Tuesday convicted a man who killed a police officer by pushing him off a Brooklyn stoop.

George Villanueva was found guilty on a variety of charges — including manslaughter — in relation to the death in March 2011 of Officer Alain Schaberger in Boerum Hill. He was acquitted on a murder charge.

Schaberger was responding to a domestic violence call involving Villanueva and his girlfriend when Villanueva allegedly pushed him over a railing. The officer fell 9 feet to his death.

The prosecution charged that Villanueva intentionally pushed the 10-year NYPD veteran. The defense countered that Schaberger fell after his partner accidentally bumped into him.
