Man Sentenced in Strangling Death Of Ex, Daughter

A Brooklyn man who strangled a former girlfriend and her young daughter and arranged their bodies to look like a murder-suicide was sentenced yesterday to 40 years to life, according to the Daily News. Amahal Lynch, 22, a former city housing employee, admitted to the May 2010 slayings. He strangled Shakeema Elliott, 29, then sexually abused and killed her 8-year-old daughter, Kaliya Williams. He then put the bodies in the bathtub and scattered pills on the floor.
