Life Without Parole for Brooklyn Drug Lord
SOMERSET, Pa. (AP) — A Brooklyn man has been convicted of first-degree murder for hiring two men to kill his “best friend” in Pennsylvania for skimming money from a drug operation.
A Somerset County jury deliberated for about 90 minutes before convicting 33-year-old Calvin Mallory Jr., of Brooklyn, on Thursday. Mallory faces a mandatory life sentence without parole when he’s formally sentenced June 27.
