Deaf Boy In Critical Condition After Being Hit by Cab

A 5-year-old deaf boy who was hit by a cab in Cobble Hill on Saturday was on a respirator in very critical condition yesterday, according to the New York Post.
 
Timothy Keith and his parents, who are also deaf, were walking to the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday afternoon when Timothy ran between two parked cars onto Hicks Street and was hit by a yellow SUV cab.
 
His parents carried him to nearby Long Island College Hospital and he was later transferred to SUNY Downstate, as reported by the Post.
 
The driver of the cab that hit Timothy remained on the scene and no charges have been filed.
 
Timothy and his parents were visiting Brooklyn from Washington, DC.
