Brooklyn Boy Riding Bike Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

BROOKLYN (AP) — A 13-year-old Brooklyn boy was struck and killed by a car over the weekend after falling off his bike.

Police say Henry Garcia was riding his bike near his home on 20th Avenue in Bensonhurst Saturday afternoon when he fell off his bicycle.

Police say the driver, who was traveling in the same direction, struck the boy and fled the scene.

Police continued to search for the driver on Monday.

The boy was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
