BOERUM HILL — Buffalo Exchange, a sustainable company that reuses and recycles clothing, brings the original concept of “buy-sell-trade” to Downtown Brooklyn with the opening of its second Brooklyn store at 109 Boerum Place, just off Atlantic Avenue in Boerum Hill.

The new Buffalo Exchange store is in a brightly painted 2,500-square-foot freestanding brick building and features an interior with high ceilings, painted concrete floors, vintage hues and vintage display fixtures, dressing rooms for men and women, including one that is wheelchair-accessible, plus two buy counters where customers can sell their clothes for cash or trade.

Said Dana Whitney, expansion manager, “We are going for a vintage glam feeling while still holding true to the Buffalo style and atmosphere.”  The other Brooklyn location is in Williamsburg at 504 Driggs Ave.
