Brooklyn Heats Up for Tech Companies

According to peHUB, a private equity website, Brooklyn has become “the hottest spot to start a digital media company in New York.” The site quotes Will Porteous, a general partner at RRE Ventures, a venture capital firm, as saying that his firm has eight Brooklyn-based startups in its portfolio. “Software development and entrepreneurship are creative endeavors, and Brooklyn is synonymous with creativity,” Porteous is quoted as saying.
