Flatbush Serial Burglar Arrested

Darral Baskerville, 55, was arrested today in connection with a series of burglaries in Flatbush, including two in the same church. In all five burglaries, according to police, he climbed up to the roof and entered through the targeted building’s skylight. He is accused of stealing from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 24 Snyder Ave. (twice); the Stride Rite Shoe Store, 1001 Flatbush Ave.; the New Richie Nail Salon, 2255 Church Ave.; and the Get Set clothing store at 930 Flatbush Ave. The burglary spree took place from February through this month, police reports say.
