With sprawling views and classic elegance, the Dyker Beach Golf Club is the perfect place for a wedding reception.

“We have Manhattan-style catering, but we offer a Long Island view, yet we are centrally located in the heart of Brooklyn,” said Debbie Giasemis, director of sales.

The catering hall underwent $14 million in renovations three years ago — and it shows — they are booked every single Saturday through next February. “We are a one-venue event when it comes to weddings,” Giasemis said.

The cocktail hour room has a full view of the golf course with plenty of windows. There’s a giant fireplace to make winter events cozier. The bridal suite is “to die for,” with views of the golf course and plenty of mirrors. Both rooms have access to an outside patio.

The grand ballroom, which seats up to 380 guests comfortably, also has outside access and overlooks the garden. It’s decorated sparingly, yet beautifully, with Sephardic chairs. Adjacent to the ballroom is a Viennese room, for couples that opt for a Viennese hour.

There is also a gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, which seats up to 300 guests. The cuisine is International. “We do everything and anything,” Giasemis said “We can cater Italian, Greek and Russian.”

Dyker has an event planner on staff, Vicky Kostopoulos, plus plenty of vendors to work with. Bobby Falanga, food and beverage director, and Matt Silver, regional catering director, are here to help.

“I love working here. Every time I come into this building, I am so happy. It’s like coming into a country club,” Giasemis said. “I love doing marketing for Dyker – it sells itself.”

The Dyker Beach Golf Club is located at 1030 86th Street. They can be reached at 718-836-9722 ext. 260 or at www.nycevents.americangolf.com.
