Brooklyn Boy, 10, Hit by Stray Bullet

NEW YORK (AP) — Police say a Brooklyn boy is in stable condition after being struck by a stray bullet.

The 10-year-old was walking with his father around 11 p.m. Monday when he got caught in the crossfire.

Police say several men were engaged in a dispute when someone discharged two rounds, striking the boy in the torso.

The boy was taken to Brookdale Hospital.

The incident occurred in the Williamsburg section in front of 403 Broadway.

There have been no arrests.
