PACC, HSBC Offer Personal Finance Class
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — The Pratt Area Community Council (PACC) and HSBC Bank will offer a five-week personal finance class for Brooklyn residents from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays, April 5, to May 3.
Focused on those having credit problems or trouble saving money, course sessions will include managing your money, budgeting and banking, credit history and basics of borrowing, preventing I.D. theft, homeownership and mortgages.
The course will conclude with an “Investment Night” on May 3, where stocks, bonds, money market and retirement accounts will be discussed.
