Youth Council Leaders Honored

BAY RIDGE — Kirk Tzanides, president of the 68th Precinct Youth Council, and Ellen Triscuizzi, the council’s secretary, were honored by Community Board 10 leaders at the start of the board’s March 19 meeting with the task of leading the group in the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.
“They love our children and our children are our future,” said Board 10 Chair Joanne Seminara, who applauded the council and praised Triscuizzi for her many years of service to the organization.
Seminara, who called Triscuizzi “an incomparable community treasure,” recalled that when her children, who are now 31 and 27 years old, played for the council’s little league baseball teams, Triscuizzi was there, selling team uniforms.
