Only One Conviction in Ridge Bar Fight

According to the Daily News, only one of the five defendants in a trial stemming from a bloody brawl in a Bay Ridge bar was convicted, and that defendant, Michael Crowley, was only found guilty of misdemeanor weapons possession for having a knife. The brawl, at the Kettle Black bar in April 2010, gained notoriety  because it involved two cops and a firefighter. One of the men who was acquitted is the nephew of state Senator Marty Golden.
