
Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Brooklyn Subway Fight

NEW YORK (AP) — New York City police are searching for a suspect who got into a physical altercation with a man on a subway platform moments before the man was fatally struck by a train.
Police say Joshua Basin, of Howard Beach, Queens, was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after Friday night’s incident.
They say both men were riding the “L” train when they got into a verbal dispute. At the Bedford Avenue station in Brooklyn, they both got out and a physical altercation ensued during which both men wound up on the tracks.
The suspect climbed out and fled. Police say Basin was struck by a northbound train.
