CADMAN PLAZA EAST — Chief Judge Dennis Jacobs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit announced Friday the U.S. Court of Appeals has appointed Nancy Hershey Lord, formerly of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, as a United States bankruptcy judge for the Eastern District of New York, located in Downtown Brooklyn. Judge Lord officially assumed her duties on Feb. 29 in a private ceremony.
