A Compilation of the U.S News & World Report Rankings for New York City Metropolitan Law Schools, 2000-2012

Last week, the U.S. News & World Report published its 2012 rankings online. For the second year, the rankings of the top 145 schools were published. When previously asked why the magazine did not publish the rankings of the remaining 40 or 50 schools, Robert Morse, the magazine’s director of data research, said that they did not want the schools ranked at the very bottom to be labeled as “America’s worst law schools.” —R.T.
