Mourn Dorothy Larsen Aylward, 97
Bay Ridge — Dorothy Larsen Aylward died on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Norwegian Christian Home. She was 97 years old.
Aylward was a beloved mother to Ronald Larsen and the late Diane Larsen Copeland.
She was also the proud grandmother of six grandchildren: Donna Cunningham, Karen Peet, Janis Kenny, Gregory Larsen, and Craig and Darren Copeland.
She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren who have been providing her with tremendous joy these past 19 years, according to the family.
“You will be greatly missed; especially those beautiful blue ‘Irish’ eyes that were always smiling!” the family said in a statement. “You truly were, and will always be, our sunshine."
All funeral services were arranged by Clavin Funeral Home, 7722 Fourth Ave.
