Prudential Douglas Elliman Honors Brooklyn Agents at Annual Event

MANHATTAN — Several Brooklyn brokers were among the many citywide honored by Prudential Douglas Elliman (PDE) at its recent annual awards ceremony at Cipriani in Manhattan.

The winners from Brooklyn included the Joyce Kafati-Batarse Team of the 154 Seventh Ave. office in Brooklyn; and individuals Allan Gerovitz and David Sokolowski.

Additionally, Kafati-Batarse won the prestigious Pinnacle Club Award for agents and teams who made over $1 million in 2011 and her team was honored for getting the “Most Sales Exclusives in Brooklyn Award.”

Gerovitz won the award for “Most Rental Transactions in Brooklyn” and industry newcomer, David Sokolowski, won the “Rookie of the Year Award” for Brooklyn.

“Our talented sales agents continued to impress with their extraordinary performance achievements in 2011,” said CEO Dottie Herman, who hosted the event along with Howard Lorber, chairman. “Their hard work and commitment to excellence are crucial to our firm’s success, and we are so proud of their efforts and contributions to this company.”
