Shoeless Toddler Found Wandering Alone in Midwood
MIDWOOD — A Midwood couple was arrested Saturday after their 2-year-old son was found wandering alone on the streets wearing only socks, jeans and a t-shirt, as reported by the Daily News.
Khalifa and Shazia Nasir were charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child.
Passersby spotted the shoeless child near East 12th Street and Avenue K, less than a block from his home, at around 1 p.m. on Saturday. His parents called 911 to report him missing just after 3 p.m.
