DUMBO — Three “exciting” new retail tenants have leased space in the newly renovated retail storefronts in the One Main Street building in DUMBO, according to Two Trees Management Co., the landlord.

Caroline Pardo, managing director for Two Trees, reports the leases are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to bring local, independently owned businesses to DUMBO.

The three are described as:

• One Girl Cookies, a locally-sourced café and bakeshop from the team behind Colonie (see below). It has already opened in 1,400 square feet, with an address of 33 Main St.

• Aegir Boardworks, a Brooklyn-based surfboard and snowboard retail and service shop, that will occupy 1,000 square feet in what was formerly a barren loading dock at 99 Water St. It is slated to open in late spring.

• Colonie, a restaurant from the team behind Colonie at 127 Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn Heights, that will occupy a 1,700-square-foot space, with an address of 15 Main St.

“Two Trees has always prided itself on being a facilitator for the growth of innovative and original companies in New York City,” said Pardo. “With these three new tenants, we have kept true to this tradition.”

“There isn’t a more perfect place for a company like ours to flourish than in DUMBO,” said Peter Frolich, co-owner of Aegir Boardworks with partner, Shaun Tangen. “Two Trees has provided us with a fantastic new home here.”
