Violent Relationship Ends in Fatal Gunshot Wound

According to the Daily News, police are seeking the boyfriend of a 24-year-old woman who was shot and left to die in the basement of an apartment building on Strauss Street in Brownsville. Officers responding to a 911 call found the woman on the floor with a bullet wound to her head about 6:30 a.m. yesterday. The man reportedly was arrested nine times for assaulting the woman and violating orders to stay away from her.
